‍ ISSAR 2026 Fall Meeting information

Fall Trail Ride - Elk River
September 4 - 6, 2026

Below are preliminary details for the upcoming Labor Day weekend trail ride and fall meeting. The full schedule of events will be provided at a date closer to the weekend. If you have any questions, please reach out to me via phone, text or email with any questions.

FOOD:

Breakfast and Dinner will be provided on Saturday. For other meals, Tom’s Tavern and the Log Inn both offer food options. The Log Inn includes a family‑friendly restaurant side in addition to its bar. We have a small store for forgotten essentials, basic grocery items, and their famous Huckleberry soft ice cream. Elkspresso Coffee also offers breakfast items, coffee, and ice cream.

** Please send me your head count for Saturday’s breakfast and dinner as soon as possible.

CAMPING:

Dry camping for campers and tents will be available at the old baseball field. We’ll need a head count as soon as possible to ensure there is enough space for everyone. If it rains, we will need to move to an alternate location to avoid damaging the grass. For those wanting more privacy, campsites around the lake can be reserved at elkriverrecreation.com. There are also several first‑come, first‑served sites on nearby USFS land.

OTHER LODGING:

Elk River Outback Condos - 208-305-3405 - located right in town and offers two‑bedroom and three‑bedroom condos, each with full kitchens, TV, and Wi‑Fi.

Elk River Lodge and Store - 208-826-3299 - Community‑style lodging is available, offering private bedrooms with shared bathrooms and a shared common area that includes a kitchen and lounge space.
