Idaho State Search and Rescue (ISSAR) is the statewide coordinating organization for all Search and Rescue teams across Idaho. We support county‑based SAR units by providing training, resources, and a unified framework that strengthens readiness and cooperation during emergencies.

Our role is to enhance communication, promote consistent standards, and assist with mutual aid when missions require additional support. Idaho’s diverse landscapes demand skilled, well‑prepared responders, and ISSAR is committed to ensuring every SAR team has what it needs to operate safely and effectively.
